The IHM'23 conference, supported by the Association Francophone d'Interaction Humain-Machine (AFIHM), is the privileged place for exchanges on the latest advances in research, development and innovation in Human-Computer Interaction. It will take place from April 03 to 06, 2023 in Troyes, France.

This year, the conference will focus on the link between Human-Computer Interaction and transitions, with a corollary question addressed to the HCI community: which design ethics for responsible, equitable, sustainable, fair and inclusive interactions?

The 2023 edition will also remain open to the themes traditionally addressed by the IHM conference (see call for papers).

The objective of IHM'23 is to provide a forum for discussion, exchange and sharing between the different actors of the community, with the ambition to promote the field of Human-Computer Interaction and strengthen the collaborations between the members of the community, with the ambition to :

  • question the role of Human-Computer Interaction in the face of the challenges of global transition (climate, energy, digital, anthropological, social);
  • promote interdisciplinarity between human and social sciences, cognitive sciences, design and computer science;
  • encourage the participation of young researchers;
  • develop links between the academic world and the business world around HMI issues.

The organization of IHM'23 will respect the principles of sustainability.
