Thank you for your interest in the IHM conference. This document is intended to guide authors through the submission process and to provide information on the review process for scientific papers. It provides information that will minimize misunderstandings between authors and reviewers, and thus maximize the chances of acceptance of your paper proposal.
IHM is a scientific conference on Human-Computer Interaction. In the ecosystem of conferences in this field, IHM plays several roles
- To provide a friendly space for established researchers to present and discuss significant contributions to the field of HCI
- To allow authors to express themselves easily in a language they master
- To facilitate a first presentation of their work in progress by PhD students in a demanding but benevolent context
- To bring together French-speaking researchers and industrialists in the field of Human-Computer Interaction
- To allow authors to prepare ambitious submissions to international conferences (CHI, INTERACT, etc.) or specialized conferences (CSCW, UIST, Infovis, etc.)
- To this end, IHM implements a rigorous review process to ensure a level of quality that should be expected from a scientific conference. IHM aims to be a reference conference in the French-speaking world in the field, which can be cited in particular by evaluation bodies. We therefore suggest that authors write their paper with a high level of quality in mind in order to maximise the chances of acceptance.
